The Arts Association of East Alabama, Inc. proudly announces a contemporary reimagining of our hometown identity while continuing to serve as a unique arts resource for all the communities across East Alabama. Arts Opelika equally celebrates our city and the Arts Association’s 60-year history of achievements in eclectic and adventuresome programming, making a significant cultural and civic impact here with our regional, national, and international roster of performances, arts education initiatives, and community-focused activities. Partnerships with the City of Opelika, Opelika City Schools, Alabama State Council on the Arts, the Opelika-Auburn business community, and many enlightened and engaged citizens, have provided historic, superior arts facilities including the former Lewis Cooper Jr Memorial Library and Arts Center, the Opelika Center For The Performing Arts, Southside Center For The Arts, and the Opelika Depot.
